CALL US ON  0207 416 6673

We are authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and required to hold professional indemnity insurance of at least £2 million. Please take note that not all Immigration law firms are SRA regulated and instead are regulated by the OISC and they normally do not employ Solicitors or Barristers. Recently we have noticed that various OISC firms are using website addresses that suggest that they are regulated by the SRA and therefore if you only wish to instruct a firm of Solicitors please go to http://www.lawsociety.org.uk/choosingandusing/findasolicitor/

In order to qualify for this visa it is necessary to have access to investment funds of not less than £ 200,000.00 or £50,000.00 from recognised institutions as set out in the Immigration rules. The funds must be held in a financial institution such as a bank and the funds must be disposable. This is an exciting opportunity for entrepreneurs wishing to invest in the UK economy.

Marriage in the UK

Zaidi Immigration Lawyers also provide advice and representation to clients wishing to get married in the UK. The certificate of approval scheme has now been abolished and an in theory an applicant is free to marry in the UK. In this situation the UKBA may detain and remove this applicant from the UK.

Immigration Appeals

Zaidi Immigration Solicitors specialise in providing advice and assistance in respect of all Immigration appeals. We deal with entry clearance appeals (leave to enter) and leave to remain cases. Our service includes completing the notice of appeal forms, preparation of grounds of appeal, preparation of the Immigration appeal and instructing Barristers to attend the Tribunal.

Leave To Remain Applications

Clients wishing to remain in the UK may consider making an application for an extension of stay on the basis of marriage and compassionate / exceptional circumstances and other categories.

If you have been lawfully residing in the UK for 10 years or been unlawfully in the UK for 14 years it may be possible to apply for ILR.

Deportation & Removal

If you been served with a deportation order or removal directions then it may be possible to appeal against the decision or cancel or suspend proposed removal from the UK.

Appeals & Judicial Reviews

Our immigration solicitors can assist you in relation to your immigration appeal to the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) or Judicial Review to High Court against the Home Office or Entry Clearance Officer’s immigration decision if your application for leave to enter (entry clearance/visa) or leave to remain (application to the Home Office for extension of stay) has been refused. We can also provide legal help and assistance in challenging the dismissal of an appeal by an Immigration Judge at First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) or Upper Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber).

Our complaints policy and procedure

In accordance with our client care responsibilities, we have a complaints procedure and aim to ensure that any complaints are handled promptly, fairly and effectively in accordance with it. In the event of any concerns about our services or our charges, a client is entitled to complain and the client will be advised to whom the complaint may be made. Upon request, we will provide a client with a copy of our complaints procedure
If for any reason we are unable to resolve a problem between us, you may be entitled to use the complaints and redress scheme operated by the Legal Ombudsman. Any client who is not satisfied with the Firm’s handling of a complaint may be entitled to ask the Legal Ombudsman of England and Wales to consider the complaint. A complaint to the Legal Ombudsman must normally be made within six months of the date of the conclusion of the Firm’s complaints procedure. Details on how to contact the Legal Ombudsman and further information on the procedures involved can be found at www.legalombudsman.org.uk. A client may also be entitled to apply for an assessment of a bill sent by the Firm under Part III of the Solicitors Act 1974. Please note that the Legal Ombudsman may not consider a complaint about a bill if a client has applied to the court for assessment of that bill.
